Job summary

Pregis is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, repair, maintain, and manage Pregis Packaging and Sharp Systems equipment, with emphasis on Pregis packaging gear. Reporting to the Field Services Manager, you will communicate with administrators, regional managers, and customers about technical information.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a 2-year college (preferred).
• At least 5 years of related experience and/or training (preferred).
• Ability to read blueprints/manuals/electrical schematics and perform maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-field support and optimize material delivery systems.
• Implement comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules, including machine tracking and monitoring of equipment and material utilization.
• Conduct hands-on demonstrations of Pregis systems and end-user training on procedures and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot film, consumable, and machinery issues while generating detailed quality control reports.
• Ensure timely completion of all service-related documentation.
• Perform system inspections and advise clients on proactive measures to reduce outages.
