Job summary

Pregis LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, repair, and manage Pregis Packaging and related equipment. The role involves remote work within a defined territory with daily local travel to customer sites in North America, plus overtime as required.

The technician will communicate with administrators and account managers, perform hands-on demonstrations, and ensure proper documentation. A strong background in mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a 2-year college.
• 5+ years of related field service experience preferred.
• Mechanical assembly and ability to read blueprints/manuals/electrical schematics.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills with some electrical aptitude.
• Excellent communication with internal and external customers at all levels.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory; travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-field support and optimize material delivery systems.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules and track equipment usage.
• Demonstrate Pregis systems and provide end-user training.
• Troubleshoot issues and generate detailed quality control reports.
• Maintain documentation and inventory control for parts and tools.
• Travel to customer sites within North America as needed.
