Job summary

Veritiv in Downey, CA is seeking a Sales Representative to develop and execute the sales strategy for Veritiv products and services within a designated geography. You will drive new business, maintain customer relationships, and provide customer-specific solutions while meeting sales targets.

The role requires a competitive, motivated spirit with the drive to solve problems and a willingness to travel up to 25%. Compensation ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 plus bonus and uncapped commission.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of related job experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or high school diploma acceptable.
• Experience in packaging industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sell and promote Veritiv products and value-added services to meet or exceed goals in an established territory.
• Develop and implement a customer contact plan to communicate product launches and engage potential customers in sales campaigns.
• Identify opportunities and present Veritiv solutions that meet customer needs.
• Develop and provide custom presentations and business reviews on Veritiv solutions that could impact customer growth.
• Utilize CRM to schedule follow-up actions and record relevant information from interactions.
• Create a personal network and represent the organization at business sector events to enhance the brand.
