Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son is seeking a Packer to keep our Boise production lines running efficiently in compliance with product specs and safety standards. You will rotate through packaging tasks, seal products, box and palletize, and operate pallet jacks while entering data in the ERP system.

You will participate in QA activities such as pH verification and metal detection, and support SQF/GMP/OSHA compliance. The role requires basic math, strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to

Qualifications

• Grade School level; High School Diploma/ GED a plus.
• 1-2 years’ experience operating or working with food manufacturing machinery equipment or similar experience.
• 1-2 years’ experience following work task specifications, SOPs, recipes, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production lines and meet packaging specifications and safety standards.
• Operate packaging equipment, perform changeovers, and input data into ERP/Machine Log.
• Conduct line rotations and assist co-workers as needed during downtime or breaks.
• Support QA activities including pH verification, metal detection, and line quality checks.
• Adhere to SQF, GMP, HACCP, OSHA requirements and maintain housekeeping per policy.
