Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son in Idaho seeks a Packer to keep packaging lines running smoothly and ensure tortillas meet specs. You will rotate through tasks, operate packaging equipment, handle pallet jacks, and enter data into the ERP and machine logs.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting. The Packer position requires basic math, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with a focus on quality and compliance with SQF, GMP,

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience operating or working with food manufacturing machinery.
• 1-2 years’ experience following work task specifications, SOPs, recipes, etc.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Commitment to SQF, GMP, HACCP, OSHA and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment (Auto Baggers, Ilapak) and participate in line rotations.
• Access product specifications via the ERP system and log data into the Machine Log.
• Prepare and maintain clean, organized workstations per housekeeping policy.
• Meet productivity goals by following the production schedule and quality specs.
• Assist with QA activities including pH checks and line quality monitoring.
