Job summary

Graham Packaging in Twin Falls, Idaho, is seeking a Production Manager to lead the Production Department, ensuring safe, cost-effective manufacturing and timely customer service.

You will coordinate schedules, supervise staff, support safety programs, and drive continuous improvement with a focus on quality and efficiency. Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in manufacturing leadership preferred; travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or related operations experience.
• Minimum five years’ experience in an operations supervisory or management role in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including ability to communicate with internal and external customers.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

Responsibilities

• Understand, follow and enforce all safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies.
• Oversee Production department personnel/HR issues including hiring, reviews, recognition, disciplinary, attendance, and grievances.
• Execute production schedule to satisfy customer service requirements for time, cost, and quality.
• Assign and oversee supervisory projects such as safety programs, housekeeping, regrind, CQI.
• Maintain cost effective inventory levels of production supplies.
• Coordinate with Maintenance on preventive maintenance for equipment.
• Communicate with Sales to meet customer requirements and maximize plant utilization.
• Manage temporary staffing levels to achieve labor efficiency.
• Attend meetings as necessary.
• Assist in performing physical inventories according to corporate procedures.
• Conduct trials and R&D for packaging conditions (banding, stretch wrap).
• Develop plant SOPs and train employees to meet objectives.
• May handle special projects in other areas.
