Job summary

Graham Packaging is seeking a Production/Operations Manager to oversee production activities, enforce safety policies, and drive efficiency across shifts. You will coordinate with HR, lead training, and manage staffing levels to meet cost and schedule objectives.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or related operations experience with at least five years in a supervisory role in manufacturing. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or related operations experience; 5 years in a supervisory/management role preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing environments with demonstrated leadership skills.
• Ability to interact with managers, employees, vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production department personnel and HR issues including hiring, reviews, recognition and attendance.
• Execute production schedules to satisfy customer service, time, cost and quality.
• Lead safety meetings and departmental training.
• Develop methods to optimize manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
• Participate in plant staff and safety meetings and lead shift excellence.
