Job summary

Graham Packaging in Missouri is seeking a Production Manager to lead the Production Department, directing supervisors and staff to produce quality products safely and cost-effectively. You will work with scheduling to develop and execute production plans in line with plant objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, at least five years in operations supervision in manufacturing, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or related operations experience required.
• 5+ years of experience in an operations supervisory or management role in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervisors and assigned personnel within the Production Department.
• Coordinate production activity to produce quality product in a safe and cost effective manner.
• Develop and execute production plans aligned with plant procedures and customer service requirements.
• Oversee safety programs, housekeeping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage temporary staffing levels to meet labor efficiency goals.
• Collaborate with Maintenance on preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Coordinate with Sales to meet customer requirements and maximize plant utilization.
