Graham Packaging seeks an Operations Manager to lead Production and Maintenance, coordinating with departments to ensure efficient, quality manufacturing aligned with policy and plant objectives. You will supervise staffing, safety, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent maintenance/ops experience, with 5+ years in a supervisory capacity in manufacturing. Strong leadership, communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or related maintenance/operations experience required.
• Minimum five years in maintenance supervisory/management in manufacturing with leadership.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to work under pressure.
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance.
• Experience in hiring, training and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, health, quality GMP and company policies are followed.
• Oversee Maintenance and Production personnel and HR issues (hiring, reviews, disciplinary actions).
• Coordinate maintenance budgets and prevent costly repairs by root-cause analysis.
• Develop and implement improvements to machinery and systems to reduce costs.
• Manage production scheduling to meet time, cost, and quality targets.
• Collaborate with sales to ensure customer requirements are met and plant capacity is optimized.
