Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC in the United States is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide onsite service for Rotary Vacuum Chamber and other packaging equipment at protein processor plants. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and support installation and start-up activities.

The role requires 3–5 years in the food packaging industry, a technical degree or equivalent, and the willingness to travel up to 75% with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent in electrical or mechanical technology.
• Megatronics training and certification preferred.
• 3–5 years experience in food packaging industry (material & machinery).

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site equipment service for Rotary Vacuum Chamber and other packaging equipment at customer facilities.
• Act as a safety leader and prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance to maintain equipment performance.
• Assist in installation, start-up and rebuilding of equipment as needed.
• Complete reporting within 5 days and time utilization in a timely manner.
• Travel up to 75% and maintain valid driver’s license.
