Job summary

Amcor is seeking a field service technician to provide onsite service for Rotary Vacuum Chamber and other packaging equipment at protein processor plants. You will troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, and install equipment, ensuring peak performance.

You will join a safety-first culture, build strong customer relationships, and travel frequently to customer sites, with opportunities to contribute to design and start-up efforts at partner facilities.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical technology preferred.
• Megatronics training and certification preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in food packaging industry (material & machinery).
• Willing to travel 75% or more and holds a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities.
• Provides preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and technical support for Rotary Chamber and other packaging equipment.
• Maintains accurate and timely reports on work activities and time utilization.
• Assists in the installation and start-up of packaging equipment manufactured and sold by AFNA.
• Establishes and maintains effective relations with customers, sales personnel and internal AFNA staff personnel.
• Completes reporting within 5 days and expense reports within a month.
