Job summary

Amcor is seeking a field service technician to deliver onsite service for Rotary Vacuum Chamber and packaging equipment in protein processor plants. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and support equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for customers.

The role requires electrical/mechanical tech aptitude, 3–5 years in food packaging, and willingness to travel up to 75%. Strong safety focus and collaboration with AFNA staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent in electrical or mechanical technology.
• Megatronics training and certification preferred.
• Experience in food packaging industry (material & machinery) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives and prioritize safety in all tasks.
• Assess customer requirements and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
• Service equipment to maintain optimal performance of packaging films and materials.
• Provide preventive maintenance and technical support for Rotary Chamber and related equipment.
• Document work activities and time utilization accurately.
• Assist install and start-up of equipment, and support RE&D projects.
