Job summary

Amcor in the United States seeks a skilled technician to provide efficient onsite service for Rotary Vacuum Chamber and related packaging equipment at protein processor plants. The role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude, with occasional support from management for complex issues.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and technical support, install and start up equipment, and ensure thorough reporting of activities and time utilization. Travel up to 75% is required.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite equipment service to assigned customers for Rotary Vacuum Chamber and other packaging equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and technical support for Rotary Chamber and other packaging equipment at customer facilities.
• Maintains accurate and timely reports on work activities and time utilization.
• Assists in the installation and start-up of packaging equipment manufactured and sold by AFNA.
• Assist in rebuilding Rotary Chamber equipment in Amcor’s RE&D facility in New London, WI.
• Completes reporting and expense reports promptly and maintains weekly schedules.

Education
