Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking an on-site equipment service technician to support Rotary Vacuum Chamber and other packaging equipment at protein processor plants. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and train customers.

You will also assist in installation, start-up, and occasional rebuilding at our RE&D facilities, while traveling up to 75% and driving as required. A technical degree and related experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical technology.
• Megatronics training and certification preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in food packaging industry (material & machinery).

Responsibilities

• Safety leadership and prioritizing safety in all responsibilities.
• Service customer equipment to maintain optimum performance of packaging equipment.
• Provide preventative maintenance and troubleshooting for Rotary Chamber and other equipment.
• Install and start-up of packaging equipment manufactured and sold by AFNA.
• Assist in rebuilding Rotary Chamber equipment at Amcor's RE&D facility in New London, WI.
