Job summary

Amcor is seeking an onsite Service Technician to service Rotary Vacuum Chamber and other packaging equipment at customer facilities in the protein processing sector. The role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude, 3–5 years in food packaging, and willingness to travel 75% or more with a valid license.

You will install, start up, troubleshoot, and train customers, while maintaining detailed reports and supporting AR/RE&D teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Educational background in electrical or mechanical technology or equivalent.
• 3–5 years experience in food packaging industry preferred.
• Willingness to travel 75%+ and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient onsite service to assigned customers for rotary vacuum chamber and other packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and assist in installation/start-up of packaging equipment.
• Maintain accurate reports on work activities and time utilization.
• Assist in rebuilding Rotary Chamber equipment at Amcor’s RE&D facility.
• Provide customer training on proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Collaborate with sales and internal staff to ensure customer satisfaction.
