Job summary

POWERX is seeking a P&C Test Engineer II to execute assigned commissioning and testing scopes under supervision and grow toward independent system-level understanding. You will work with relay protection systems, breaker controls, CT/VT circuits, and substation testing across distribution and transmission substations up to 765kV.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years in high-voltage protection & control testing and commissioning.
• Familiarity with relay platforms such as SEL, GE, ABB, Siemens, or Westinghouse.
• Experience commissioning substations from 12.5kV through 245kV preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute relay protection testing tasks under Senior/Lead oversight with accurate documentation.
• Perform breaker control circuit testing including trip path verification and checks.
• Read and navigate one-lines, three-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
• Maintain complete test records, redlines, and daily reports.
• Support turnover documentation and commissioning packages.
