Job summary

POWERX is seeking a P&C Test Engineer II to execute relay protection testing and commissioning on distribution and transmission substations up to 765kV. You will advance from component-level tasks toward independent system-level testing under Senior or Lead guidance, with emphasis on protection testing, drawing navigation, and safe work execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in relay protection testing and commissioning.
• Ability to read/interpret one-lines, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Willingness to grow from component tasks to system-level understanding.

Responsibilities

• Execute relay protection testing with appropriate platforms under oversight.
• Perform input/output testing and metering checks with accurate results.
• Test CT/VT configurations, polarity, and grounding verifications.
• Perform breaker control circuit testing and trip path verifications.
• Navigate and interpret drawings and layouts with confidence.
