POWERX is seeking a P&C Test Engineer II to execute commissioning and testing scopes under the supervision of a Senior or Lead Test Engineer. The role targets advancing from component-level tasks toward system-level understanding, with growing independence in protection testing, drawing navigation, and safe work practices on substations up to 765kV.

You will support relay protection testing, breaker controls, CT/VT circuits, and transformer protection across distribution and transmission

Competenze

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in high-voltage Protection & Control testing and commissioning.
• Familiar with SEL, GE, ABB, Siemens, Westinghouse, or equivalent relay platforms.
• Knowledge of NEC and OSHA practices preferred.
• Experience commissioning substations from 12.5kV through 245kV preferred.

Mansioni

• Execute relay protection testing tasks under Senior or Lead oversight.
• Perform input/output testing, metering checks, and element pickup tests with accurate results.
• Navigate drawings and wiring diagrams to support testing.
• Prepare turnover documentation and commissioning packages under supervision.
• Maintain complete test records and daily reports.
