Job summary

POWERX is seeking a P&C Test Engineer II responsible for executing commissioning and testing tasks under the oversight of senior engineers. This role requires a developing understanding of protection testing and safety standards while gradually moving towards independence in tasks.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience and be familiar with relay testing platforms and electrical safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in high-voltage Protection & Control testing.
• Familiar with relay platforms such as SEL, GE, ABB, Siemens.
• Knowledge of NEC and OSHA Electrical Safe Work Practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute relay protection testing tasks under Senior oversight.
• Perform testing and documentation on CT and VT configurations.
• Support commissioning projects in distribution and transmission substations.
