Job summary

POWERX is seeking a P&C Test Engineer II to advance from component work to broader system understanding in protection testing and substation commissioning. You will perform relay tests with guidance from seniors, document results, and contribute to projects across distribution and transmission substations up to 765kV.

Ideal candidates bring a background in electrical tech, familiarity with protection platforms, and a proactive, safety‑minded approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology, or an Associate degree.
• Experience with high‑voltage protection testing is preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute relay protection testing tasks under supervision.
• Read one‑lines and schematics for field testing.
• Document results accurately and timely.
• Support commissioning of substations up to 765kV.
