Job summary

POWERX is seeking a P&C Test Engineer II to support commissioning and testing scopes under Senior or Lead oversight. You will contribute to developing system‑level understanding and demonstrate growing confidence in protection testing, wiring diagrams, and safe work execution across substations up to 765kV.

You will engage with POWERX Academy training, develop test plans, review drawings, and ensure testing aligns with utility standards and client requirements, while maintaining thorough reports

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in high‑voltage Protection & Control testing and commissioning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with relay platforms (SEL, GE, ABB, Siemens) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned relay protection testing tasks under Senior/Lead oversight.
• Perform breaker control circuit testing and field verification.
• Read one‑lines, schematics, and wiring diagrams to support testing.
• Maintain complete and accurate test records and documentation.
