The P&C Test Engineer II at POWERX is a developing field professional responsible for executing assigned commissioning and testing scopes under Senior or Lead oversight. This role expands from component-level tasks toward independent system-level understanding, with emphasis on protection testing, drawing navigation, and safe work execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of high-voltage Protection & Control testing experience.
• Familiar with relay platforms (SEL, GE, ABB, Siemens, Westinghouse).
• Experience commissioning substations (12.5 kV–245 kV) preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and navigate protection schemes accurately.

Responsibilities

• Execute relay protection testing tasks under Senior/Lead oversight.
• Perform CT/VT testing, breaker control testing, and circuit verification.
• Document results, redlines, and daily field reports with accuracy.
• Support turnover documentation and commissioning packages.
• Maintain safety and quality during field assignments.
