Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. seeks an Overnight RN Supervisor to oversee the 11:00 PM–7:00 AM shift across a Connecticut facility. The role emphasizes clinical leadership, patient safety, and seamless night-to-morning care transitions.

The ideal candidate holds an active CT RN license with 2–3 years in SNF/LTC, strong independent judgment, and proficiency with EMR systems such as PointClickCare.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Connecticut.
• 2–3 years of nursing experience in SNF/LTC/sub-acute settings.
• Overnight supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making for night shift.
• Proficiency with EMR for documentation and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Overnight clinical supervision across all units 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.
• Triage and emergency response for night shift incidents and changes.
• Conduct nocturnal rounds focusing on care delivery, infection control, meds, safety.
• Manage admissions/transfers during late night/early morning; hand off to day leadership.
• Lead and support overnight RNs, LPNs, and CNAs; foster accountability.
• Ensure EMR documentation complies with DPH and CMS regulations.
