Job summary

Extended Stay America in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Night Service Representative Part Time to respond to overnight guest needs when the lobby is closed, ensuring courteous, safe, and high-quality service that maintains guest satisfaction.

This on-call role requires you to be available within about 30 minutes, handle guest key/access issues, noise complaints, emergencies, and limited after-hours check-ins, while preserving safety and hotel policies.

Qualifications

• : High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• : Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, procedures, and manuals.
• : Ability to input information into computer systems and use MS Office and hotel PMS.

Responsibilities

• Attend to guests upon call notification for check-ins, emergencies, noise complaints, and safety issues.
• Maintain control of hotel keys and safeguard against loss or theft.
• Log keys in and out as needed.
• Organize and conduct limited guest check-ins/check-outs and process payments when necessary.
• Stay updated on hotel policies, training, and safety procedures.
• Report safety, guest, and security concerns per policy.
• Provide directions and information about amenities and local areas.
• Perform bookkeeping tasks like logging events and posting payments to folios.
• Maintain proficiency in location computer systems and software.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with first responders when required.
• May cover other local hotels during staffing shortages.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
