Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking an Overnight Guest Service Agent to support registration and check-out, PBX operations, and mail services while delivering outstanding service to our guests. You’ll advocate for the hotel and craft RIDICULOUSLY personal experiences that encourage guests to return.

Responsibilities include reviewing arrivals, handling check-ins/outs, managing phone inquiries, and coordinating with other departments to ensure flawless guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Front Desk or guest-facing role is beneficial.
• Proficient in coordinating guest services and checking in/out.
• Able to communicate clearly by phone and radio with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Review arrivals noting special requests and block rooms as needed.
• Check in and out hotel guests in a confident, professional manner.
• Answer all calls promptly with complete and accurate information.
• Complete shift checklists (AM, PM, Overnight).
• Perform pre-assignment of rooms including VIPs and special requests.
• Follow established key control policy and proper credit procedures.
• Submit lost & found reports when needed.
• Be familiar with fire and emergency procedures.
• Open, balance, and verify daily cash and transactions.
• Monitor room availability and yield status throughout shift.
• Attend department meetings.
• Communicate effectively with other departments via phone or radio.
