Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in Philadelphia is seeking a Guest Service Agent to handle registration and check-out, PBX operations, and mail and message services while delivering outstanding service to guests.

You'll act as an advocate for the hotel, create personal guest experiences, and build relationships to encourage return visits. The role requires a friendly, professional demeanor and the ability to manage routine tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous Front Desk or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable of local area, services, attractions, and events.
• Flexible schedule; able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Work well under pressure dealing with many arrivals and departures.
• Familiar with hotel systems and accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

• Review arrivals noting special requests and block rooms as needed.
• Check in and out hotel guests in a confident, professional and friendly manner.
• Answer all calls promptly and knowledgeably, always ensuring complete and accurate information.
• Complete all items on appropriate (AM, PM, Overnight) checklists by end of shift.
• Coordinate with Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, and Valet by phone and/or radio.
