Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in Chicago is seeking a dedicated Guest Service Agent to handle registration and check-out, PBX operations, mail and message service while delivering outstanding service to our guests. You will act as an advocate for the hotel and develop relationships that encourage guests to return.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and familiarity with hotel systems to enter information accurately.

Qualifications

• Front desk experience or customer-facing role is preferred.
• Knowledgeable of immediate area, services, attractions, and events.
• Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Familiar with hotel systems and operations, and the ability to enter information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Register and check-out guests.
• Operate PBX and handle mail and messages.
• Act as hotel advocate and create personal guest experiences.
• Develop relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits.
• Coordinate with Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, and Valet.
