Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a Guest Service Agent to welcome guests, manage registrations and check-outs, and provide outstanding service at the front desk. You will assist guests with inquiries, coordinate requests with housekeeping and reservations, and ensure smooth daily operations.

The role requires a high school diploma, prior front desk experience, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Previous experience in a Front Desk or customer-facing role is preferred.
• Knowledgeable of local area, services, attractions, and events.
• Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Work well under pressure with multiple arrivals and departures.
• Familiar with hotel systems and accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

• Register and check-in/check-out guests with a professional, friendly demeanor.
• Answer all phone calls promptly and provide accurate information.
• Coordinate guest requests and communicate with other departments.
• Balance daily shift cash and perform end-of-shift procedures.
• Monitor room availability and assist with yield management as needed.
• Attend department meetings and maintain brand service standards.
