Job summary

Sonesta Hotels International Corporation in Chicago is seeking a Night Manager to act as Manager on Duty for the overnight shift. You will oversee Front Desk and PBX, ensure end-of-day and Night Audit processes, and provide operational support to the Front Office.

The role involves preparing VIP arrivals, coordinating with Housekeeping for early check-in, updating guest profiles, and maintaining safety and compliance while delivering passionate guest service.

Qualifications

• Overnight front desk and Night Audit responsibilities.
• Support Front Office with nightly tasks and guest services.
• Assist the Director of Front Office as needed.
• Prepare for VIP and Travel Pass arrivals.
• Maintain SOX compliance and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure end of day process is completed.
• Manage and perform all Night Audit functions.
• Handle walked guests and follow up reports.
• Audit Travel Pass arrivals for next day.
• Review VIP arrivals and accommodations.
• Update guest profiles across systems.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping for early check-in procedures.
• Promote a positive perception of the company.
• Ensure reports are completed accurately and timely.
• Train staff and provide coaching as needed.
