Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants seeks an Overnight Guest Service Agent to manage registration, check-out, PBX operations, mail and messages, while delivering exceptionally personal guest experiences. You will advocate for the hotel, build guest relationships, and contribute to memorable stays.

Ideal candidates bring front desk or customer-facing experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work overnights, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of local area and hotel systems is valuable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Front Desk or customer-facing role is helpful!
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledgeable of immediate area, services, attractions, and events.
• Flexible schedule, able to work overnights, weekends and holidays.
• Work well under pressure, taking care of many arrivals and departures within a short period of time.
• Familiar with hotel systems and operations, and the ability to enter in information accurately is helpful!

Responsibilities

• Register and check-in/out guests overnight.
• Answer phone calls promptly and knowledgeably.
• Manage PBX operations and guest communications.
• Complete shift checklists and ensure accuracy of information.
• Balance daily shift cash and maintain security of credit transactions.
• Monitor room availability and assist with yield management as needed.
