Job summary

Meier Agency is seeking an Outside Sales Representative Trainer to develop other sales reps and future leaders. This role includes conducting in-person and online training, coaching, and building a growth-oriented team in a dynamic, fast-growing organization.

You will work in a field-based, B2B environment, manage your own book of business, and contribute to hiring and mentoring new sales team members while aligning with product and process knowledge.

Qualifications

• Strong background in sales with a proven track record in insurance or related fields.
• Experience mentoring or coaching sales reps and developing leaders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to obtain Health & Life license and insurance knowledge.
• Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Implement training programs for sales reps, focusing on foundational skills and leadership potential.
• Conduct in-person and online training sessions to build practical experience and confidence.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to help reps set and achieve career goals.
• Identify high-potential individuals and develop them into future leaders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance training.
• Learn company products, sales processes, and CRM usage.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring new team members.
• Build and manage your own B2B book of business in the field.
• Analyze sales data to spot trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in sales meetings and contribute ideas to motivate the team.
