Job summary

The Kendall Group, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Technical Specialist to join our Midwest sales team. You will manage an established territory, generate orders, and build trusted relationships with manufacturers and customers.

Travel will be required to visit clients, negotiate pricing, and close deals while meeting annual targets. You will analyze field activities, expand the customer base, and communicate clearly with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, technical degree, or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience in outside sales.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel).
• Strong interpersonal communication, analytical and problem solving, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage, grow, strategize, and support the assigned territory.
• Generate profitable orders and meet or exceed annual sales targets.
• Actively seek out new clients to expand the assigned territory.
• Maintain strong and trusted relationships with manufacturers and customers.
• Regularly analyze field activities, identify improvements, and increase productivity.
• Monitor quotations, follow up, and maximize sales.
• Develop understanding of client base, territory, competition, and market.
• Communicate clearly, negotiate effectively, and plan sales activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
