Sanitary Linen Service in Norfolk, VA is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow our local customer base across Hampton Roads. You will manage a defined territory, call on restaurants, hotels and healthcare offices, present tailored proposals, and close service agreements.

This full-time role includes a base salary plus commission and a company car. First-year earnings typically $55,000–$65,000, with higher potential in following years.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Outside Sales Representative – Norfolk, VA

$42,000–$45,000 base + commission | Company car provided | Full-time

First-year earnings: $55,000–$65,000. Second-year earnings: $60,000–$85,000.

Sanitary Linen Service is a family-owned linen and textile rental company, part of a family of companies in business since 1934. We're hiring an outside sales rep to grow our customer base across Hampton Roads: restaurants, hotels, healthcare offices, and other local businesses that rely on us for linens, mats, and hygiene services. You'll get a local territory, a company car, and real training. New and recent college grads are welcome to apply.

What You'll Do

• Find new customers in your territory by phone, email, and in-person visits. Cold calling and walking into businesses are a big part of the job.


• Meet with owners and managers, learn what they need, and put together proposals.


• Close new service agreements and hit monthly sales goals.


• Hand new accounts off to our service team and follow up to make sure customers are happy.


• Track your calls, visits, and deals in our CRM (HubSpot).

What You Need

• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.


• Comfort starting conversations with people you don't know, and the drive to keep going after hearing \"no.\"


• Self-motivation and organization. You'll plan and manage your own week.


• Basic computer skills (email, Word, Excel).


• Experience in outside sales, B2B sales, route sales, or customer service is a plus, but not required. We'll train the right person.
