Sanitary Linen Service, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the Norfolk, VA area. The role offers a base salary plus commission, a company car, and a defined local territory with no overnight travel.

First-year earnings project to $55,000–$65,000, with higher second-year potential based on performance. The successful candidate will build relationships with restaurants, hotels, healthcare offices, and other local businesses, learn client needs, prepare proposals, and close service

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Self-motivation and organization; plan and manage your own week.
• Basic computer skills (email, Word, Excel).
• Experience in outside sales or B2B sales is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Find new customers in your territory by phone, email, and in-person visits.
• Meet with owners and managers, learn needs, and prepare proposals.
• Close new service agreements and hit monthly sales goals.
• Hand new accounts off to the service team and follow up for satisfaction.
• Track calls, visits, and deals in the CRM (HubSpot).

$42,000–$45,000 base + commission | Company car provided | Full-time

Sanitary Linen Service is a family-owned linen and textile rental company, part of a family of companies in business since 1934. We're hiring an outside sales rep to grow our customer base across Hampton Roads: restaurants, hotels, healthcare offices, and other local businesses that rely on us for linens, mats, and hygiene services. You'll get a local territory, a company car, and real training. New and recent college grads are welcome to apply.

What You'll Do

• Find new customers in your territory by phone, email, and in-person visits. Cold calling and walking into businesses are a big part of the job.
• Meet with owners and managers, learn what they need, and put together proposals.
• Close new service agreements and hit monthly sales goals.
• Hand new accounts off to our service team and follow up to make sure customers are happy.
• Track your calls, visits, and deals in our CRM (HubSpot).

What You Need

• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Comfort starting conversations with people you don't know, and the drive to keep going after hearing "no".
• Self-motivation and organization. You'll plan and manage your own week.
• Basic computer skills (email, Word, Excel).
• Experience in outside sales, B2B sales, route sales, or customer service is a plus, but not required. We'll train the right person.
