Carter Lumber Outside Sales Representative role focused on building relationships with local contractors and homeowners, selling our full line of building materials and installed services. You will manage projects after sale, visit job sites, and keep customer information current.

You will read blueprints, prepare material take-offs and quotes, and collaborate with yard and dispatch while communicating effectively to close deals. commission-based pay exists.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in sales is required.
• Knowledge of home building basics is preferred.
• Ability to create material estimates and quotes.
• Open new accounts on regular monthly/quarterly cycles.
• Learn to read blueprints and provide material take-off lists.
• Ability to work independently with good planning.
• Strong organizational skills and communication.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Attend HBA/builder/company functions as required.
