Carter Lumber is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to build and maintain relationships with local contractors, builders, and remodelers. You will sell our full line of building materials and installed services, manage post-sale relationships, and visit job sites as needed.

The role emphasizes strong communication, scheduling, and follow-through to ensure projects stay on track. Salary includes commission and unlimited earning potential.

Formación

• Experience in building material sales is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and provide takeoff lists.
• Knowledge of home building basics and material estimates.

Responsabilidades

• Sell full line of building materials and installed services to contractors, builders, and remodelers.
• Manage each job and relationship after sale; collect current product use data.
• Visit job sites, maintain schedules, and communicate with teams to resolve issues.

Conocimientos

Experience in building material sales

Knowledge of home building basics

Create material estimates/quotes

Open new accounts regularly

Read blueprints and takeoffs
