Job summary

Cowtown Materials, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales I to join its development program and master essential sales functions from branch operations to inside sales and product knowledge. You will execute lead generation, close deals in the assigned territory, and help implement the agreed-upon marketing plan.

The role emphasizes building material knowledge, strong customer relationships, and accurate pricing, with a focus on contributing to growth and market expansion within the territory.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to self-manage with experience in supplier relationship management.
• Building materials and construction industry knowledge preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Excel knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Master all steps of the sales process, including developing action plans by accounts and product lines, pursuing leads, and closing sales.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pricing, and assist with pricing changes, delivery coordination, and inventory reconciliations.
