Job summary

Cowtown Materials, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales I to join our team in San Antonio, TX. The role trains across branch operations, delivery, inside sales, and product knowledge for drywall, insulation, studs, and related accessories.

You will carry out basic outside sales tasks from lead generation to closing in an assigned territory, while implementing the marketing plan with guidance from leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of building materials and construction industry strongly preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of Excel preferred
• Ability to self-manage and handle supplier relationship management

Responsibilities

• Master all steps of the sales process from lead generation to close.
• Identify opportunities for up-sell and cross-sell.
• Establish rapport with customers and build long-term relationships.
• Generate new business and obtain orders.
• Proficient product knowledge to assist buying decisions.
• Provide timely competitive pricing on price quotations.
• Maintain records of sales activity and pricing.
