Job summary

Travelers is seeking an Associate Claim Rep, Outside Property, to begin in a structured 9–12 month program focused on first-party property claims and customer service. The role combines remote work with field travel to residential and commercial locations in the Baltimore-Towson-Owings Mills area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; experience in customer service or insurance preferred.
• Willingness to obtain active adjuster license as required by state law.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn claims management software.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training covering policies, claims processes, systems, and procedures.
• Review, investigate, and document 1st party property claims under supervision.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third-party providers.
• Learn to determine coverage and establish scope of damages for claims.
• Provide timely, professional communication to customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records in claim management systems.
• Adapt to new technology implementations and digital tools.
• Obtain required Insurance License(s) or UAS Remote Pilot Certification within 3 months.
• Travel as needed to support customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
