Job summary

Carter Lumber Company is seeking an Outside Sales Rep to grow millwork sales with builders and subcontractors, both residentially and commercially. You will present products, take measurements, prepare estimates, and manage each job from sale through delivery.

You will visit job sites, build relationships, and drive profitability while providing excellent service and solutions to customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years selling millwork products (interior trim/doors/hardware).
• Experience with other building materials is a plus.
• Able to read blueprints and perform take-offs.
• Willing to visit job sites to measure doors and trim.
• Strong sales focus with profitability mindset.
• Excellent communication and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Develops relationships with customers and subcontractors to assess needs and provide solutions.
• Attain and maintain sales of all products, focusing on interior/millwork products.
• Give presentations to builders and advise on product features and benefits.
• Do take offs and prepare estimates, ensuring orders are accurate and on time.
