Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking an Outside Sales Rep to grow millwork product sales and manage customer relationships with builders and subcontractors. You will visit job sites, perform take-offs, prepare estimates, and ensure on-time delivery of interior trim and millwork products.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of millwork sales experience (interior trim, interior doors, interior hardware).
• Ability to cold-call and grow relationships with customers.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform take-offs.
• Ability to visit job sites to measure doors and trim.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with customers and subcontractors to determine needs and provide services.
• Attain and maintain sales of products focused on interior and millwork products.
• Present products and advise on features and benefits to builders.
• Do take-offs and prepare estimates to ensure orders are accurate and on time.
