Healogics is the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States. The Patient Navigator helps ensure smooth operation of a dynamic outpatient wound care center and performs general office duties to assist the staff of the WCC.

The role coordinates with center leadership, greets patients, verifies insurance, schedules appointments, enters charges, maintains charts, and supports providers within the care continuum.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Prior medical coding experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients and visitors; answer and route calls as needed.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments; send reminders.
• Obtain and verify patient insurance information, including pre-certifications.
• Enter patient charges and reconcile them as directed; prepare monthly survey data.
• Assemble and maintain patient charts; coordinate testing with other departments.
