Job summary

Healogics LLC is seeking a Clinical Patient Navigator to support both administrative and clinical workflows in a dynamic outpatient wound care center. You will coordinate scheduling, insurance prerequisites, and charting while assisting RN/Provider with wound care-related tasks and intake/discharge processes.

The role requires CMA/CNA/EMT certification and at least two years of medical office administration experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree preferred
• Graduate from a CMA, EMT or CNA program approved by recognized accrediting bodies
• Current CMA, CNA or EMT Certification licensed in the state of employment
• Minimum of Two (2) years office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting
• Prior medical coding experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Administrative: Coordinates with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census; greets patients and visitors; manages scheduling and reminders; processes insurance info and pre-certifications; handles data entry and chart management; coordinates ancillary testing and patient transportation; maintains office equipment and supplies.
• Clinical: Under RN/Provider direction, provides wound-related patient care as approved; may assist with intake and discharge; may assist in Vein Clinic; gathers patient information and equipment; communicates with the team to ensure quality of care; may serve as a scribe; performs other duties as required.
