Job summary

Healogics, LLC. is seeking a Patient Navigator to manage front office operations at an outpatient wound care center. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and coordinate with providers to ensure smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of medical office experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong communication and confidentiality skills. This is a full-time on-site role in a clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred
• Minimum of two years of office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting
• Prior medical coding experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census
• Participate in staff meetings to support center functions
• Greet patients and visitors and route calls to staff
• Maintain patient communication needs including scheduling and reminders
• Obtain and verify patient insurance information including pre-certifications
• Enter patient charges into databases
• Verify and reconcile charges and document monthly survey data
• Assemble and file patient charts; check data completeness and signatures
• Coordinate scheduling for ancillary testing with other departments
• Arrange patient transportation as needed
• Maintain office equipment and medical supplies
• Perform other duties as required
