Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years in office administration, preferably in a medical setting.
• Prior medical coding experience is a plus.”

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Participate in staff meetings to support Center functions.
• Greet patients and visitors; answer and route calls to staff.
• Schedule, reschedule, and remind patients; coordinate with providers per care continuum.
• Verify patient insurance information; obtain pre-certifications and pre-authorizations.
• Enter patient charges in databases and reconcile them as directed.
• Assemble and file patient charts; ensure data accuracy and signatures.
• Coordinate scheduling of ancillary testing with other departments.
• Arrange patient transportation when needed.
• Maintain office equipment and medical supplies; perform other duties as required.
