Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED required.
• Preferred 1+ year of registration and/or insurance verification experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive patient interviews and collects accurate data for scheduling.
• Ensure complete accuracy when scheduling examinations and inform patients of required information.
• Verify appointment availability using the scheduling system.
• Protect patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
• Communicate with insurers to ensure CPT/ICD codes on authorizations.
• Complete MSP and ABN documentation as necessary.
• Provide courteous service to patients, staff, clinicians, and visitors.
• Assist with registration as needed.
