Penn Medicine Washington Square is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to support patient flow, registration, appointment scheduling, and referrals in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This role emphasizes patient-centered care and accurate front-end processes.

As the liaison between staff and management, you will help maintain schedules, ensure HIPAA compliance, collect copays, verify insurance, and uphold high standards of service.

Formación

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; EMR training/tests required.
• High school diploma with 3+ years medical office experience.
• Experience with patient registration, scheduling and insurance verification.

Responsabilidades

• Assist manager/physicians to maintain patient focus and high-quality care.
• Check in/out, patient registration, appointment scheduling, referrals/pre-authorizations.
• Oversee daily schedule and operations of assigned area/group.
• Generate financial and operational reports and monitor performance.
• Communicate between group and management.
• Handle patient flow, copays, insurance cards, and admissions in EMR.
