Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program in New Jersey. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, with delegation to direct care staff as appropriate.

As a member of the ESKD health care team, you will participate in decision-making, teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities that enhance patient care outcomes and facility operations.

Qualifications

• Entry-level RN with less than 2 years' nephrology nursing experience.
• Current state RN licensure and CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to supervise and educate patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for dialysis patients.
• Document care in the patient medical record and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with team; mentor Patient Care Technicians and LPNs/LVNs.
• Administer medications per approved protocols and emergency response if needed.
• Participate in teaching and quality improvement activities.
