Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. You will provide and coordinate care for patients undergoing hemodialysis, assess and document patient data, and participate in education for patients and families.

Collaboration with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and PCTs is essential to ensure safe, effective therapy. Required include graduate nursing education, state licensure, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Nursing assessment and care planning skills.
• Ability to educate patients and families.
• Team-based care with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and PCTs.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients during hemodialysis.
• Document in medical records and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patient/family on learning needs and treatment options.
• Lead and train staff as assigned and participate in quality improvement.
