Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. The role provides clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients within the ESKD team.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease care team, you participate in decision-making, teaching, and quality improvement activities to improve patient outcomes and patient facility operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze patient data during pre-, during-, post-hemodialysis.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and treatments.
• Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis therapy with team collaboration.
• Administer medications per prescribed algorithms and document outcomes.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in quality improvement.
• Assist with staff training and orientation as assigned.
